BOOKING AND PAYMENT
Once a tour booking is made by telephone or e-mail, a deposit is required to
secure your booking. This amounts to £10 per person for a full day and £5 per person for a half day's tour.
Deposits are required within ten days of your tour
please, and should be paid by cheque payable to 'P. Chillingworth'.
Unfortunately I am unable to accept credit card payments.
When a deposit has been received, booking confirmation and a copy of the
terms and conditions will be issued. This will need signing and returning on
the day of your tour. The balance of the payment can then be paid by cash or
cheque at the beginning of your tour.
For any booking requests received close to a tour date, when there isn't
enough time to receive a deposit, payment in full is required at the
beginning of your tour. Clients will be issued with their completed booking
form and a copy of the terms and conditions that will need signing and
returning.
Bookings are taken on a 'first come, first served' basis on each specific
date.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Cancellations by any client more than 48 hours before their tour date will
receive a full refund of their deposit. Unfortunately, deposits cannot be
refunded if a cancellation is received within 48 hours of the tour date. Of
course, bookings can be transferred to a future date. If a cancellation
occurs that is solely the fault of Coastal Birding Tours, a full refund will
be given.
If the weather conditions are extremely bad and the tour has to be
cancelled, again a full refund will be paid. Of course, if preferred an
alternative date can be arranged.
Children under 16 are most welcome but must be accompanied by a paying
adult. Under 16's are charged at half the quoted tour price.
Coastal Birding Tours cannot be held responsible for any personal injury or
accident during a tour.
Coastal Birding Tours cannot stress enough that clients wear sensible
clothing and take sensible precautions and great care at all times.
Please do not leave any valuable items in unattended cars.
Coastal Birding Tours reserves the right to terminate any client's tour
without refund, if that client's behaviour is seen as being irresponsible
and detrimental to the enjoyment of others.
If you do have any reason to make a complaint during your tour, please
notify Coastal Birding Tours as soon as possible. This can then be addressed
and hopefully resolved on the same day.
Coastal Birding Tours have full public liability insurance.
